Our Story

Ownd began as a simple question, "Can I survive while doing what I love (with no money and a borrowed laptop)"

Amid the 2008 economic recession, a good friend of mine and I both lost our jobs. After working hard and being left high and dry, we were over putting our future in the hands of others. So we set off, with only a borrowed laptop and no permanent address, to create something that focused on our ideals. Our goal was simple, to create a line of apparel and accessories that WE would want to wear, everyday. -And hey, surviving wouldn't be half bad either. Two years and six addresses later, Ownd clothing is expanding daily and dropping some of the highest quality apparel available on the scene.

At Ownd we eat, sleep, and dream top quality garments and processes. Anything other than the softest inks, freshest colorways and totally original artwork is just a waste of time. Mix that with a does of east coast grit, add a dash a near-homelessness and bunch of born hustlers and you have Ownd Clothing.

Ownd clothing is proud to support the US economy and fair labor laws. All of our garments are designed, sewn, and screen printed in the USA.

For Fall/Winter 2010 we are proudly offering our first line of ladies t's and hoods, featuring dark heathers, fresh cuts, and super soft prints. We are also expanding on our popular "Flight tag" series, adding new cities and optional ladies sizes. For our fall artist series t's we are featuring the amazing limited edition work of Philly native Nosego. In addition we have three new hoody styles, new embroidered fitted and knit caps, and a limited edition of ultra high quality scarfs hand made right here in Boston.
